Here in San Francisco we are afforded no shortage of epic backdrops, so when it's time to go outside and take some family portraits it's really hard to go wrong. And if you're fortunate enough to have nice weather, it's darn near impossible. For this particular family portrait session, Vale and I tried to make the most of some late afternoon light on a gorgeous San Francisco day out at Land's End, overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. We all had a lot of fun soaking up the golden hour with the Sinyaver family, especially Max the puppy. (Yes - he's a hundred pound St. Bernard and only 8 months old!) I think we might start finding excuses to come out to this spot more often. - Cole
