We are elated to share photos from Katie and Tim's Spring wedding at Monteverde at Oldstone in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Katie and Tim's wedding was spectacular. So many moments had me feeling like I was watching something from a movie. (But a movie that I've never seen before and couldn't be recreated in Hollywood if they tried.)

The weather was perfect. Magnolia blossoms were in full bloom at the beautiful Fordham University Church where the ceremony was held. The guests traveled via buses to the Monteverde at Oldstone and gently eased into party mode -- mingling in the sun on the great lawn overlooking the Hudson River.

Like any wedding, there was at least one thing that wasn't part of the plan --Tim's dear grandpa, Patch, took a fall between cocktail hour and the reception. An ambulance arrived on the scene and it was definitely a scary (and stressful) moment. Lucky for rockstar Day-of Coordinators like Lindsay Saltz to keep everything running smoothly and safely throughout the day -- planned and unplanned. The happy ending was that Patch got well cared for right away, bandaged up, and was feeling well enough to stay for the party and even have a laugh over it during the best man's speech. (Like I said, this wedding was like a movie so it couldn't be without a little drama!)

The reception took place in Monteverde's Tented Pavilion -- a dreamy tent strung with twinkly lights. The rest of the night was just hit after hit. The best set of bridal party ENTRANCES I think we've ever witnessed, heart felt and hilarious speeches, amazing first dances -- especially a performance of a lifetime by the bride and her brother. I can't even imagine how much they practiced that. It was just awesome. In addition to an insanely cool, unique DJ (with live, entertaining musical accompaniment), there was a special performance by the bride's late father's best friend (two words: Rolling Stones.) It was one of many phenomenal tributes to Katie's dad, Billy, who we can only imagine from all the love we could feel for him that day that he was one hell of an amazing father, husband and friend. The best part of it all was seeing Katie and Tim in the center of the party just having the best time -- completely in love with each other and surrounded by their best supporting cast.

As we've reviewed and edited their photos, we're still cracking up (and crying) at some of the moments that remind us of their wedding night. We feel super lucky we got to be the ones to capture it all. Thanks, Katie and Tim, and both of your families for making the day so fun and easy! We hope you love these photos even more than we do!!
