When our good friends Pat and Hilary (Pat and I were teammates at USF) announced they were engaged, I didn't waste much time before asking them if they would be up for some portraits. (I might have just told him it was happening, I can't remember.)
We decided to make a day of it when Kiera and I were back in the Bay Area for the holidays, and had ourselves a nice little New Years Eve celebration. Mimosas and brunch at Market Bar made for a great warmup, and beautiful weather on the waterfront sealed the deal. I'm thinking we may have to start offering champagne in our engagement packages. -Cole
